IDF: More than 120 bombs dropped on weapons production facilities in Tehran
Tel Aviv, March 29 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they are continuing to intensify their attacks on military industrial infrastructure across Tehran, with weapons research, development, and production facilities targeted by more than 150 fighter jets.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released an update regarding the ongoing large-scale air operations targeting military industrial complexes in the Iranian capital.
It was stated that the attacks, carried out under the coordination of the Air Force Intelligence Directorate, aim to paralyze the regime’s strategic weapons production capacity.
Regarding the technical details of the operation and the strategic targets that were struck, the IDF statement said:
"The attacks on the military industry are continuing uninterrupted: more than 120 bombs were dropped on facilities in Tehran used for weapons research, development, and production. Dozens of fighter jets, under the command of the Israeli Air Force Intelligence Directorate, carried out another series of strikes in the early hours of this morning against the infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime in Tehran."
Regarding the facilities that were targeted, the statement said: “A site where components required for ballistic missiles are developed, a complex used by the Revolutionary Guards’ military industries for the research and development of ballistic missile systems and various types of satellite launchers, and an Iranian military weapons research, development, and production facility.”
The IDF added that operations against ballistic missile storage and launch sites, as well as air defense systems, are also continuing simultaneously.
