IDF: Weapon production facilities in Iran targeted
Tel Aviv, March 27 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it has deepened its operations aimed at weakening Iran’s military-industrial capacity and has so far struck more than a thousand production facilities.
According to CCTV, in the operation carried out over the past 24 hours with 60 fighter jets, more than 150 munitions were dropped on military targets in Tehran and its surroundings.
According to official data, the Israeli Air Force also destroyed facilities in western Iran used for storing and launching ballistic missiles.
In a statement by the IDF, it was emphasized that the operation aims to systematically reduce the Iranian regime’s weapons production lines as well as its development and research capacity.
The news of the operation came shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump said that negotiations were “going very well” and extended the deadline for possible attacks on Iranian energy facilities to April 6 (10 days).
