Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The unrest in Dublin, which began when far-right protesters targeted an asylum hotel, persisted into a third night. Following the accusation of a man in connection with the alleged assault on a 10-year-old near the Citywest facility, stones and fireworks were thrown at police officers.

A 26-year-old man, whose name has not been disclosed under Irish law governing sexual assault cases, appeared in court on Tuesday.

During the serious incidents on Tuesday night, several arrests were made, and police promised a “strong response” if the violence continued.

Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan said on Wednesday that “many people have been arrested” and that “more arrests will follow.”

Between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, hundreds of protesters again faced about 40 uniformed police officers. After the first police line was hit by debris, stones, and fireworks, public order units carrying plastic shields and additional body protection were deployed.

Some protesters continued throwing stones, fireworks, glass bottles, and wooden planks at the police. Acts of vandalism were also reported around the nearby Saggart Luas tram stop, parallel to the road where protesters gathered.

Riot police used shields to push the crowd away from the hotel. At least one officer was affected by pepper spray. While most of the crowd dispersed throughout the night, police deployed an additional unit behind the remaining protesters shortly after 10 p.m.
