Intense explosions reported throughout the night in Kyiv
Stockholm, 25 November (Hibya) – Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced on Telegram that explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday night.
Klitschko wrote: “The enemy’s attack on the capital continues. There are drones over the city, stay in shelters.”
Later, Ukrainian officials reported that two people had died.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine wrote on Telegram: “In the nighttime attack on Kyiv, two people were killed, six injured, and 18 — including three children — were rescued.”
Two high-rise buildings caught fire after being struck by falling debris. Some areas experienced electricity and water outages.
According to the country’s Ministry of Energy, Russia also targeted energy facilities across Ukraine.
