Italian Foreign Minister Tajani met with AlBudaiwi
Rome, July 12 (Hibya) – Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met with Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
In a statement regarding the meeting, Tajani said that he discussed with AlBudaiwi the crisis in Gaza and the necessity of ensuring humanitarian access.
He also stated that Italy aims to soon sign a cooperation agreement with the GCC Secretariat in order to build closer relations with regional countries and fully leverage the potential of economic partnership, particularly in the energy, digital, and infrastructure sectors.
