Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten assessed the impact of the current situation in Iran on the Iranian community living in the Netherlands and shared his government’s stance regarding developments in the region.

Pointing to the uncertainty of the situation and the breakdown in communication in Iran, Jetten said: “Developments in Iran are progressing at a dizzying pace. The ongoing bombings are causing serious concern. It is almost impossible to communicate with family and friends in the country. As a result, the Iranian community in the Netherlands is currently living between hope and fear.”

Expressing how moved he was by his meeting with community representatives, Jetten said: “I met with several members of the Iranian community and listened to the situation in the country and its impact on them. This meeting deeply affected me. What resonated most in that conversation was the incredible strength of the Iranian people.”

Emphasizing diplomatic pressure and the will of the people, Prime Minister Jetten said: “I promised that the Netherlands will not overlook them and that together with our partners we will continue to focus on reducing tensions and applying pressure on the Iranian regime. One thing is clear: ultimately, only Iranians can determine the future of their country. The Netherlands stands firmly behind the people of Iran.”
