Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten issued a statement on the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks carried out in the United States on September 11, 2001. Jetten said the attacks were the largest terrorist attack ever carried out on U.S. soil and that the images remain shocking even 25 years later.

Jetten said: “Today marks 25 years since the United States faced the largest terrorist attack ever carried out on its soil. The images of the two planes crashing into the Twin Towers in New York feel just as chilling and unreal every time.”

Jetten noted that another plane struck the Pentagon, while the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania thanks to the heroic intervention of the passengers. He said: “Around 3,000 innocent victims lost their lives that day. The world was in shock and would never be the same again.”

Jetten said those who lost their lives in the attacks are remembered and delivered a message on protecting security and democratic values. He said: “Just as we did then, today we continue to stand firmly, together with all our allies, for our security, our free society and our open democracy. Because terror must never be allowed to win.”
