European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said EU member states had reached an agreement on the conditions for releasing 6.6 billion euros from the European Peace Facility for Ukraine.

Kallas said 900 million euros of the fund would be used for the EU Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine, 1 billion euros for new joint equipment procurement, and 4.7 billion euros to reimburse member states. She added that some countries had announced they would direct their share to Ukraine.

Kallas said Moscow was trying to intimidate Europe through hybrid attacks in an effort to reduce its support for Ukraine, while Europe, she said, was moving to increase its support.
