Lahbib: Deadly floods are occurring in South Africa
Brussels, January 22 (Hibya) – European Union Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib said that deadly floods are affecting South Africa.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Lahbib stated that South Africa is experiencing deadly floods.
Lahbib explained that, to support emergency response efforts, the European Union has allocated €1.15 million in humanitarian aid for Mozambique and Malawi, deployed EU technical experts through the United Nations, and ensured the delivery of vital relief supplies via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge.
