White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared her observations from the moment of the attack, saying, “The president’s calm in an atmosphere of chaos where another person was trying to take someone’s life was truly remarkable, and I will never forget it.”

Referring to the violence Trump has faced, Leavitt stated, “In recent years, no one has faced more bullets and violence than President Trump.”

Speaking about the opposition’s rhetoric, Press Secretary Leavitt said, “This political violence stems from the systematic demonization of him and his supporters by commentators, yes, elected members of the Democratic Party and even some people in the media.”
