Brussels, 18 November (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that they are preparing for the final fundraising event of the “Scaling Up Renewable Energy for Africa” campaign.
President von der Leyen stated that preparations continue for the final fundraising event of the “Scaling Up Renewable Energy for Africa” campaign.
Using the phrase “Eyes on Johannesburg!”, Leyen said that on Friday they will bring together governments, financial institutions and companies. She added: “With a clear goal — strengthening Africa’s future with clean energy.”
