Zelensky wrote: “Tomorrow we have talks in Türkiye. We are preparing to intensify the negotiations and have developed solutions that we will present to our partners. Doing everything possible to end the war is Ukraine’s highest priority.”

He added that work is also underway on the exchange and return of detainees.

Earlier, Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko suggested that during his visit to Türkiye, the Ukrainian leader may meet businessman Timur Mindich, who is accused of corruption and recently left Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsya announced on 12 November that peace talks between Kyiv and Moscow had been officially suspended, claiming that Russian representatives were ignoring concrete steps toward a resolution.

The diplomat had previously stated that Russia was ready to resume negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul.
