Macron: France unconditionally supports Ukraine's call for an energy ceasefire
Paris, October 11 (Hibya) - French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France supports the call for an energy ceasefire that Ukraine has expressed its readiness to accept. Macron stated that Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
French President Emmanuel Macron issued a statement regarding the call for an energy ceasefire.
Macron said, "France unconditionally supports the call for a genuine energy ceasefire that Ukraine is ready to accept."
Noting that Russia continues to reject the ceasefire and has intensified its attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure in recent hours, Macron stated that France would continue to stand by Ukraine and its President Volodymyr Zelensky.
