Marc-Andre Blanchard appointed as Canada's Chief of Staff
Ottawa, June 1 (Hibya) – Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Marc-Andre Blanchard will assume the role of Chief of Staff starting in July.
Prime Minister Carney stated that Marc-Andre Blanchard will begin serving as Chief of Staff in July.
Carney emphasized that Marc-Andre has had a long and distinguished career as one of Canada’s most accomplished builders, legal experts, administrators, public servants, and diplomats, having also served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He added, “I would like to express my gratitude to Marco Mendicino for his service as my Chief of Staff at the beginning of this summer, as we introduce key legislation reflecting the mandate given to us by Canadians and prepare to host global partners at the upcoming G7 Summit in Kananaskis.”
