Mediation talks held between Qatar and Switzerland
Zurich, June 12 (Hibya) - Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi met with Alexandre Fasel, State Secretary of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, within the framework of the 2026 MAS ETH Mediation Policy Forum in Peace Processes held in Zurich.
According to a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi met with Alexandre Fasel, State Secretary of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, during the 2026 MAS ETH Mediation Policy Forum in Peace Processes held in Zurich.
The two officials discussed the latest developments in the region and reviewed efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing regional security and stability.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the ongoing mediation processes between the United States of America (USA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
