Merz: Putin is testing borders, sabotaging, and spying
Berlin, September 17 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s actions are aimed at insidiously destabilizing free societies, stressing that this will not be allowed either at home or abroad; resilience and defense capabilities must be strengthened.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, in a statement to Parliament or the public, said: “Putin has long been testing borders, sabotaging, spying, committing murders, and creating uncertainty. Russia seeks to insidiously destabilize our free societies. We will not allow this either internally or externally. We must strengthen our resilience and our defense capabilities.”
