Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a telephone conversation with the United Arab Emirates' Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the call, the two ministers discussed cooperation between their countries and ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations. They also reviewed the latest developments in the region, particularly diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalation, enhancing regional security and stability, and strengthening joint coordination.

Minister Al Thani stated that Qatar supports all diplomatic initiatives and efforts that would guarantee freedom of navigation and pave the way for an agreement to establish sustainable peace in the region.
