Istanbul, August 17 (Hibya) - US markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading day.
US markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading day. The Russell 2000 index ended the day higher, while the Dow Jones, S&P 500 and NASDAQ indices declined.
The Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index rose 0.51 percent to 3,068.415 points.
The NASDAQ 100 index fell 0.13 percent to 30,046.141 points. The S&P 500 index declined 0.17 percent and traded at 7,785.76 points.
The Dow Jones (DJIA) index lost 0.20 percent, falling to 53,732.41 points, while the NASDAQ index closed the day down 0.28 percent at 26,729.164 points.
