Mixed performance in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, July 1 (Hibya) - Asian markets showed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week.
Asian markets displayed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week. Stock markets in Japan, India, and China posted gains, while markets in Australia and Hong Kong declined.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose 0.55 percent to 70,446.54 points. In India, the NIFTY 50 index gained 0.32 percent to 23,941.30 points.
In China, the Shanghai Composite index climbed 1.08 percent to 4,138.649 points, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) fell 0.63 percent to 22,881.02 points.
In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 index declined 0.71 percent to 8,716.20 points.
