Istanbul, April 3 (Hibya) - A mixed picture emerged in Asia-Pacific markets on the last trading day. While both gains and losses were seen across regional indices, some markets stood out on the upside.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index rose 1.27 percent to 53,131.50 points, while in South Korea the Kospi index gained 2.81 percent to reach 5,381.00 points. India’s Nifty 50 and Malaysia’s KLCI indices also posted limited gains.
In contrast, Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index fell 1.06 percent to 8,579.50 points. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index lost 0.70 percent, China’s FTSE China 50 index declined 0.75 percent, and Indonesia’s IDX Composite index dropped 2.19 percent. Thailand’s SET index also posted a 0.31 percent decline.
