Moldovan Foreign Ministry: We protested Russia’s airspace violation
Chisinau, October 3 (Hibya) - Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador in Chisinau and delivered a note of protest after five drones and missiles entered the country’s airspace without authorization.
According to a statement by Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, five drones and missiles entered the country’s airspace without authorization and exploded near some settlements in four regions.
The ministry said the incident threatened lives and caused fires and material damage, calling on Russia to respect Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to prevent similar incidents from recurring.
