Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Pentagon argues that the policy imposes “common-sense” rules designed to protect the military from the publication of information that could endanger it.

On Thursday, the New York Times filed suit seeking to overturn the new rules introduced by Hegseth, which resulted in most mainstream media outlets being removed from the building.

The Times stated that the rules violate constitutional protections of free speech and due process because they give Hegseth sole authority to decide whether a reporter may be banned.

Outlets such as the Times left the Pentagon rather than accept the rules as a condition of obtaining a press credential.

The Pentagon press room is now largely populated by conservative outlets that have accepted the new rules.
