Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani signed the minutes of the third session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission.

According to a statement from Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the protocol signed during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs includes agreements on cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, agriculture and food security, oil, natural gas and minerals, maritime affairs, information technology and telecommunications, health, education and labor.

The two sides also agreed to establish a Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment at the intergovernmental level to create a mechanism for regular consultations, coordination and cooperation on bilateral trade and investment.
