Pakistan: Ceasefire must be implemented in Lebanon
Islamabad, April 9 (Hibya) – Pakistani and Saudi foreign affairs officials expressed concern over ceasefire violations in Lebanon.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that a meeting was held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan.
According to the statement, recent regional developments were discussed during the meeting, and the parties expressed concern over ceasefire violations in Lebanon.
The two ministers stated, “For lasting peace and stability, the ceasefire must be fully implemented and respected.”
The meeting also emphasized Saudi Arabia’s support for Pakistan’s peace efforts, and it was noted that the parties agreed to continue their contacts.
