Pakistan condemns Israel's Gaza plans
Islamabad, August 15 (Hibya) - Pakistan strongly condemned the recent statements by the Israeli occupation forces referring to plans for establishing the so-called “Greater Israel” and forcibly displacing Palestinians from Gaza.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that such remarks reflect not only Israel’s intention to consolidate its illegal occupation but also a total disregard for all international efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
The ministry called on the international community to take urgent and concrete measures to prevent the occupying power from further destabilizing the region and to put an end to its ongoing crimes and oppression against Palestinians.
Pakistan reaffirmed its full support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, based on pre-1967 borders.
