Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review the country’s preparations for its upcoming multilateral diplomatic engagements.

According to the statement, the meeting discussed preparations for Pakistan’s multilateral engagements in the coming period. These include the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the meeting, the Foreign Ministry’s Special Secretary for UN Affairs briefed Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on preparations for the upcoming multilateral engagements.

The Special Secretary gave Dar a comprehensive presentation on the preparations for the planned engagements and the key aspects of these activities.

The meeting also reviewed Pakistan’s priorities for its upcoming multilateral diplomatic engagements.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar provided guidance to the relevant institutions regarding Pakistan’s priorities. Dar also instructed that comprehensive preparations be made for the upcoming engagements and that effective coordination be ensured among all relevant parties.

Relevant senior officials from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting.
