Pakistan successfully launches Remote Sensing Satellite
Islamabad, July 31 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the successful launch of its Remote Sensing Satellite.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan successfully launched its Remote Sensing Satellite today from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC).
The statement said, “The satellite will provide high-resolution and all-day imaging, significantly enhancing Pakistan’s capabilities in urban planning, infrastructure development, disaster management and risk reduction, agricultural monitoring, food security, environmental protection, deforestation tracking, climate change analysis, and water resource management.”
