Sybiha announced that Ukraine has initiated an emergency UN Security Council meeting in response to Russia’s latest terror escalation, which caused casualties and destruction in Kyiv.

"The emergency meeting, scheduled for tomorrow under the agenda item 'Maintaining peace and security in Ukraine,' will serve as a platform for presenting strong and clear positions. Putin rejects peace efforts and wants to prolong the war. But the world has the power to stop him with unified pressure and a principled stance calling for a full, immediate, and unconditional ceasefire," Sybiha said.
