Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar received Etisalat Group delegation
Islamabad, July 7 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a delegation today in Islamabad, led by Hatem Dowidar, CEO of the UAE-based Etisalat Group.
The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Minister of Information Technology, the Prime Minister's Financial Adviser Tariq Bajwa, the National Coordinator of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), secretaries from the Ministries of IT, Trade and Privatization, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Dar highlighted Pakistan’s growing digital economy and reaffirmed the government's commitment to promoting a business-friendly environment. He invited the Etisalat Group to increase its investments in the country’s ICT and telecommunications sectors.
Etisalat CEO Hatem Dowidar expressed satisfaction with the continued support from the Pakistani government and reiterated the group’s long-term commitment to the Pakistani market. He also conveyed the group's interest in contributing to Pakistan’s digital transformation and connectivity goals.
