Pakistani Prime Minister Sharif sends Victory Day message to Azerbaijan
Islamabad, November 8 (Hibya) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on the country's Victory Day, reaffirming the solidarity between the two nations.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people in a message marking the sixth anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory Day.
Describing November 8 as a historic day symbolizing the courage, determination and sacrifice of the Azerbaijani people, Sharif stated that the country had restored its territorial integrity after nearly 30 years. Sharif also commemorated those who lost their lives in achieving the victory.
Emphasizing that Pakistan stands by Azerbaijan today just as it has in the past, Sharif highlighted the strong ties between the two countries. He also expressed hope for lasting peace and shared prosperity in the South Caucasus.
