In a statement, the ministry emphasized that halting the occupiers' aggression immediately is the correct approach to protect humanity in the Gaza Strip.

The statement also stressed that legitimizing Palestine's authority over the Gaza Strip is a legal obligation for the international community:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns the mass killings committed by the occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip, including children, women, and the elderly. The latest of these atrocities occurred in a newly established camp in Nuseirat, in the center of the Strip, where citizens were targeted at a water collection point. This continues to increase the number of civilian martyrs and is leading to the total destruction of the rest of the Strip.”

The statement added that the hungry people waiting outside the so-called aid distribution centers — which have become death traps and sites of mass killings — continue to be targeted. “The number of those cold-bloodedly killed at these gates has now exceeded 800.”
