Palestinian Ambassador Awadallah Meets with German Parliament Delegation
Ramallah, December 10 (Hibya) – The State of Palestine’s Ambassador and Deputy Foreign Minister Omar Awadallah met with a delegation from the German Federal Parliament.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates received a delegation from the German Federal Parliament. Ambassador and Deputy Foreign Minister Omar Awadallah met with the delegation, which included MPs Annika Klose and Isabella Cadimartori, and briefed them on the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The meeting focused particularly on the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, including Jerusalem.
In this context, the need to make the ceasefire permanent, ensure the proper delivery of humanitarian aid, urgently launch the reconstruction plan, and unify international efforts to move to the second phase was emphasized.
The importance of providing hope and appropriate conditions for the Palestinian people after more than two years of exposure to genocide crimes was highlighted.
