Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns attacks in the West Bank
Ramallah, March 23 (Hibya) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine strongly condemned the planned attacks carried out by settler militias in the West Bank and called on the international community to place settlers on terrorism lists and impose concrete sanctions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine issued a statement regarding the escalating settler attacks in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
Highlighting the systematic nature of the attacks, the Ministry stated: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns organized settler terrorism as part of a genocidal war waged against the Palestinian people. These attacks reflect a dangerous escalation in systematic and widespread settler terrorism supported and coordinated by Israeli occupation authorities and its army."
Referring to the increase in violence during Eid al-Fitr, the statement said: "Settler attacks on villages, including the burning of homes and property, terrorizing and killing civilians, targeting vital roads, and closing holy sites, constitute a coordinated strategy within the occupation apparatus. These measures are deliberate tactics aimed at deepening the genocidal war and constitute war crimes."
Calling for concrete action from the international community, the Ministry added: "We call on the international community not to limit itself to statements but to take concrete measures, including disarming settlers, placing them on international terrorism lists, imposing travel bans, and freezing their assets."
