Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa held talks with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. During the meeting, Mustafa discussed concrete steps to be taken within a set timeframe toward the recognition and implementation of the State of Palestine on the ground.

The two leaders also discussed coordinating joint efforts to expand international recognition of the State of Palestine and addressed several other issues of mutual interest.

At the meeting held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Mustafa emphasized that the UK's recognition of the State of Palestine is a vital step in preserving the two-state solution.
