Washington, December 13 (Hibya) – Sean Parnell, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and Chief Pentagon Spokesperson, said that two U.S. Army soldiers and one American civilian interpreter were killed today in the Syrian city of Palmyra, while three others were injured.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said:
“The savage who carried out this attack was killed by joint forces. Know this: if you target Americans anywhere in the world, you will spend the rest of your short and anxious life knowing that the United States of America will hunt you down, find you, and kill you ruthlessly.”
