Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic called Ilija Srdanovic, leader of the Student List that won the elections in Serbia, to congratulate him.

In a statement shared on social media, Plenkovic said he congratulated Srdanovic and the Student List on their clear election victory and wished them success in their efforts to form a government and in their future activities.

Commenting on the phone conversation, Plenkovic said:

"The message from Serbian citizens was very clear; they wanted change. The election winners have a clear mandate and the support of citizens to take responsibility for Serbia."

Prime Minister Plenkovic also stated that they welcomed Srdanovic's foreign policy approach prioritizing improved relations with neighboring countries and remained ready to continue discussions on outstanding bilateral issues.
