Poll: Trump's 100-day approval rating is the lowest among all presidents in seventy years
Washington, April 28 (Hibya) – According to a new SSRS poll for CNN, Donald Trump returned to the Oval Office with the strongest poll numbers of his political career, but as the 100th day of his presidency approaches, Americans' views on his performance have become extremely negative.
Trump's approval rating stands at 41%, the lowest for any newly elected president within 100 days since Dwight Eisenhower (including Trump’s own first term).
Approval of Trump's presidential performance has dropped 4 points since March and 7 points since late February. Only 22% of respondents strongly approve of his work, while nearly twice that number (45%) strongly disapprove.

Trump's approval on economic issues has significantly declined since early March, after the implementation of his tariff plan led to market volatility and concerns about rising prices.
Approval on inflation dropped 9 points to 35%, and approval on tariffs fell 4 points to 35%. His overall economic management rating dropped 5 points to 39%, the lowest of his career. Only 52% trust his ability to handle the economy, a 13-point drop compared to CNN’s December poll.
