Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the Ceasefire and Full Integration Agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF as an important step.

The ministry emphasized that the agreement would contribute to strengthening civil peace, enhancing security and stability, and building a state based on institutions and the rule of law.

The statement also praised the efforts of the friendly United States in facilitating the agreement, noting that Syria’s stability and prosperity depend on the state’s monopoly over arms through a single national army representing all Syrians and preserving the country’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.

Qatar reiterated its continued support for Syria’s sovereignty and unity and its full support for the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for freedom, development, and prosperity.
