Qatar condemns Israel’s violations in Syrian territory
Doha, October 4 (Hibya) - Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Israel’s violations in Syrian territory and the completion of work on the line known as “Sufa 53.”
Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Israel’s activities in Syrian territory.
The statement said Israel’s violations in Syrian territory are continuing and condemned the completion of work on the line known as “Sufa 53” as the latest such action.
The statement argued that the move constitutes a violation of Syria’s sovereignty and the principles of international law and said it poses a threat to regional security.
The international community was urged to take immediate steps to ensure Israel’s compliance with international legitimacy resolutions, particularly the ceasefire agreement signed in 1974, and to bring an end to attacks on Syrian territory.
