The Southern Cyprus representation in Israel thanked those who attended the reception organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus to mark the 66th anniversary of Cyprus's independence.

In a statement shared on the representation's social media account, it was noted that this important milestone in Cyprus's history was significant for the country's development, achievements and commitment to peace, democracy and prosperity.

The statement also noted that the close relations and growing partnership between Southern Cyprus and Israel were celebrated. It emphasized that cooperation between the two countries was based on shared values, mutual trust and goals of strengthening regional stability.

The representation stated that it aimed to further strengthen relations between the two countries and build on the foundations of their existing partnership.
