Russia: Agreement reached with Azerbaijan on AZAL plane crash
Moscow, April 15 (Hibya) – The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that, in line with agreements reached by the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, the process regarding the crash of an Embraer 190 aircraft belonging to AZAL near Aktau in 2024 has been resolved.
In the ministry’s statement, it was said: “In accordance with the agreements reached by the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, the parties have resolved the consequences of the crash of the Embraer 190 aircraft belonging to AZAL near Aktau in 2024.”
The statement also noted that this development reaffirms the joint commitment to strengthening allied cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
