Syria and the Netherlands discuss bilateral ties and reconstruction agenda
Damascus, April 15 (Hibya) – Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani and Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen discussed bilateral relations, reconstruction and investment cooperation in a phone call.
Syrian Foreign Minister and Minister for Expatriates Al-Shaibani held a phone call with Dutch Foreign Minister Berendsen.
During the call, strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and developing areas of cooperation were discussed.
The parties particularly focused on support mechanisms for Syria’s reconstruction and development process, opportunities for cooperation in economic and investment fields, as well as transitional justice processes.
It was also noted that increasing coordination on the file of missing persons and providing international support for Syria’s reconstruction process were discussed.
