Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

On May 2, 2014, during a “United Ukraine” rally in the city of Odessa, Ukraine, many civilians lost their lives in violent clashes.

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the world must not forget what happened that day in Odessa.

In a commemorative message issued by the Ministry, it was stated:

"That day, Euromaidan supporters, radical extremists, and openly neo-Nazis committed atrocities against civilians who opposed the unconstitutional coup in Kyiv. This coup was carried out by nationalists with the support and encouragement of their Western sponsors. This atrocity must not be forgotten or swept under the rug. Even according to official statistics, at least 48 people lost their lives in this tragic incident – 42 of them burned or killed inside the trade union building, and 6 others died in street clashes in Odessa."

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova added: “Today, as we commemorate the victims of the bloody massacre in Odessa, we are confident that those who committed and incited this barbaric crime – a crime that has no statute of limitations – will eventually face the punishment they deserve.”
