Russian Foreign Ministry: Attacks on civilian facilities are unacceptable
Moscow, March 2 (Hibya) - The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern that US and Israeli operations against Iran are turning into a conflict spreading across the entire region, calling for an immediate halt to strikes on civilian targets.
The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the escalating military tension in the Middle East and the widening scope of the conflict.
The statement emphasized that instability in the region has reached a level that threatens global security.
It said: “Russia expresses concern over the armed conflict that has spread across the entire Middle East as a result of US and Israeli aggression against Iran. Any attacks on civilian facilities are unacceptable and must be stopped immediately.”
