Rutte: Germany’s additional PATRIOT decision is welcome
Brussels, August 1 (Hibya) – NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that he welcomes Germany’s decision to provide Ukraine with two additional PATRIOT air defense systems, noting that the move will strengthen Ukraine’s defensive capacity.
NATO Secretary General Rutte made a statement regarding Germany’s decision to send two additional PATRIOT air defense systems to Ukraine.
Rutte described the decision as “great news” and welcomed Germany’s leadership on the matter.
He emphasized that the extra systems will help Ukraine defend its airspace, protect its people, and play a deterrent role against Russia’s ongoing attacks.
