Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

President Erdoğan met with Prime Minister Meloni of Italy and Prime Minister Dbeibeh of Libya during the Türkiye-Italy-Libya Cooperation Summit held in Istanbul.

The summit addressed cooperation between Türkiye, Italy, and Libya, as well as regional issues.

President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of cooperation among the three countries in tackling the challenges facing the Mediterranean basin, including irregular migration.

He stated that long-term and sustainable solutions are needed to address the root causes of irregular migration and stressed the need for multilateral coordination in this regard.

It was agreed that following meetings of cooperation committees, the leaders would reconvene to assess the decisions taken.

Highlighting Israel's aggression in Gaza and the humanitarian tragedy, President Erdoğan underlined that the international community bears great responsibility for ensuring an immediate ceasefire and swift delivery of humanitarian aid, emphasizing that a lasting solution lies in the establishment of a sovereign, independent Palestinian state with geographical integrity based on 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
