Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov shared the goals of the official contacts with the Austrian delegation and the vision for the future of bilateral relations.

Providing information on the scope of the meeting, Saidov stated: “During the talks, we placed special emphasis on the further development of Uzbekistan-Austria relations, intensifying political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation.”

Referring to areas of cooperation and regional issues, Minister Saidov said: “We also discussed prospects for cooperation in security, migration, education, tourism, ‘green’ energy, and cultural and humanitarian fields. We expressed our mutual interest in benefiting from Austria’s advanced experience and technologies.”

Saidov also noted that they exchanged views on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
