Shara receives Danish Foreign Minister Rasmussen
Damascus, August 31 (Hibya) – Syrian President Ahmed Shara received Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen and his accompanying delegation at the People’s Palace in Damascus.
According to a statement from the Syrian Presidency, the meeting addressed strengthening relations between the two countries and issues of mutual interest. Opportunities for cooperation in the fields of recovery and reconstruction were also discussed.
Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani also attended the meeting. The talks also addressed how the planned cooperation could contribute to supporting stability in Syria.
