Spain and the United Kingdom sign Strategic Cooperation Framework
Madrid, November 10 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, met in London with UK Home Secretary Yvette Cooper.
During the meeting, a “Strategic Bilateral Cooperation Framework” was signed, marking the beginning of a new phase in relations between Spain and the United Kingdom.
Minister Albares stated that the signed agreement will offer new opportunities for citizens of both countries and launch a new process for the Campo de Gibraltar and Gibraltar regions.
He added that the two countries agreed to deepen cooperation and take joint steps in various fields.
The Spanish Foreign Minister also emphasized that both sides decided to work together on supporting Ukraine, strengthening European security, and promoting peace in Gaza and the Middle East.
