Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez’s tribute message to Pablo Iglesias
Madrid, October 17 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez commemorated one of the founders of the socialist movement, Pablo Iglesias, with a message on the 175th anniversary of his birth.
Sanchez stated that Iglesias “lit the fire of rights” in the country, adding, “He taught us that the path to transforming and advancing the world lies through equality, social justice, and the dignity of workers.”
Prime Minister Sanchez concluded his message by saying, “Even 175 years later, his inspiration remains at the core of our commitment. We are proud of our past.”
